RE: startup problems after woody upgrade
Did this get resolved? I have a similar problem, my solution was to create
an .Xsession file in my home directory with
exec icewm
as the only entry.

Subject: Re: startup problems after woody upgrade
At the moment I'm starting everything manually. Typing startx
appears to start x, but it then shuts itself down again
straight away. Typing gdm starts x and brings up the gdm login
screen. I can start kde fine from the gdm screen, but the
libranet option doesn't work. I can select failsafe xterm,
then type icewm and get libranet/ice running.
It's not a big problem, but it would be nice to have a simpler
way of starting ice!
Nick.
