dpkg

For those of you who don't normally use dpkg (like myself) I recently
found the following two dpkg command line parameters of use:

dpkg -l <package name>	(ie dpkg -l xcdroast)
this will show the current installed version of the package and you can
use wildcards (ie xcd*)

dpkg -L <package name> (ie dpkg -L xcdroast)
this will show the files installed from this package

Just an FYI post. Of course these commands are run in a console
(window).
