We're on the same page.  By the way I don't recommend choosing and Apple
computer, because the hardware is of a non standard form factor and very limited
in that the OS is self limiting.  It cannot use hardware other than Apple
specific which in itself is both limited and expensive.  M$ might be a
consideration except for the fact that the software is not "open source."
Furthermore, M$ has a history of poor product design and forcing these products
onto consumers though abusive monopolistic business practices which in the long
run have harmed both the consumer and the computer industry.  I can't in good
conscience recommend the purchase of an Apple computer, or the use of any M$
product other than their optical mouse.
