Re: printing ?



If your printer is going crazy turn it off. In a console window,
assuming you are using lpr, try the command lpq. This will show the
current print jobs. You can purge print jobs using 'lprm -' to clear all
your own jobs or lprm 'job number' (ie lprm 13 to purge job 13). You
don't need to be root to purge print jobs. When you restart your printer
it may still print for a while depending on how long it was turned off
and how much memory it has.
