Re: New sources.list and questions.



Optimizations for your processor are a kernel issue. Libranet's default
setting is 486 (I think). This requires a kernel recompile. Optimizing
packages requires downloading source etc and creating the packages on
your machine. This way everything is optimized to run on your current
hardware. Most of the time the gains made aren't worth the trouble.
