Well, I currently have a GeForce2 MX. Using their closed source
drivers, I only get 75 Hz @ 1152x864, while I get 100 Hz with the
OpenSource drivers. However, the OpenSource drivers don't have hardware
acceleration for videos, so I need to use the closed source drivers when
I want to watch a movie.
Well, I suppose if I could figure out how to get 100 Hz with the closed
source drivers, I'd be somewhat content.
Any hints? Using XFree86 4.1.0 - on Mandrake, but this should not
matter, I suppose.
